The contribution analyses the current Italian prison system, which has been called upon on to resolve its structural problems. The Council of Europe, in fact, in 2013 condemned Italy for inhuman treatment in its prisons. The principal accusation concerns the problem of overcrowding. The country has responded with solutions such as the application of the open system, which provides cells solely for overnight stays, and dynamic monitoring, an effective system for ensuring order in the institutions. Cellulose pulp, mainly utilized as a support for cleaning stone material, in this study, is proposed as a filler for wooden supports. In the last 10 years, pulp has been used in many restoration works carried out in the laboratory of the Diocesan Museum (MDP) in Palermo, including both wooden sculptures and panel paintings. These artworks, exhibited in the MDP, are constantly monitored in order to evaluate the effectiveness of cellulose pulp as a filler, assessing its durability and bio-receptivity. Autorka zaprezentowała problematykę zastosowania arteterapii w oddziaływaniach resocjalizacyjnych w kontekście trzech grup opinii: pracowników służby więziennej odbywających szkolenia z zakresu arteterapii, skazanych uczestniczących w zajęciach arteterapeutycznych w zakładach karnych, a także studentów kierunku pedagogika resocjalizacyjna, którzy przygotowując się do wykonywania zawodu, mają możliwość podczas studiów nabyć wiedzę i doświadczenie dotyczące możliwości zastosowania arteterapii w projektowaniu działań resocjalizacyjnych dla osób nieprzystosowanych społecznie. Całość dopełniają doniesienia z badań znanych polskich naukowców.
